a little bit of this & a little bit of that

today is my little brother's birthday. he is my best friend in the whole world & the most christlike person i know. he is empathetic & sensitive to other's feelings. he is always the first to rush up & give you the biggest hug you can imagine. he tells you how much he loves you all the time. he has overcome more in his short life that most people ever will. he is my hero. i love that little guy.

in other news, i feel like not living at home has made me a... clean person? not like i was flilthy before, but i definitely had my fair share of 'a tornado just went through my room, i promise that's what happened' kind of moments. but now, being on my own has made me appreciate being clean & having a spot for everything. luckily for me, kami is a champion of a cleaner so we got our apartment looking spick & span yesterday. shh... don't tell even though it was the sabbath...
it was needed. i'll repent i promise. 

i made chicken tacos yesterday. & who knew there was a difference in chicken broth vs vegetable broth?
i'm pretty sure they still turned out... because we ate them anyway. but count on me to buy the completely wrong thing from the store & still try to cook with it...
this cooking thing isn't working out for me very well.
i'm about 0-3. but i'm working on it.
