one year older and wiser too

today was my mom's birthday!! she is just so great and here are some reasons why...

1. she is the most selfless person i know, she would anything & everything for someone who needed help.
2. she is smart & can {usually} help me with my homework. & if she can't, she at least sits down with me & makes an effort. : )
3. she is a great teacher, & her young women's lessons were always a favorite of all the girls. it's a real talent. 
4. she is a great cook & answers all my calls about questions i have when i realize i don't know what i'm doing in the kitchen.
5. when kylie & i are having ugly picture contests, she joins in.
6. she is funny & jokes around which makes people love her.
7. she is so supportive & came to all of my piano or dance recitals, soccer, basketball, or volleyball games and never complained.
8. she is always there for me, there have been MANY times i have called her from school needing something i forgot at home and she always would bring it to me.
9. she has a strong testimony & is a great example to me, she has taught me everything i need to know about life simply by the way she lives.
10. she is my mom & my best friend! i love her so much!
