called to serve.

I am so blessed to have had such great guy friends my whole life that have been such great examples to me. And now that most of them are gone or leaving on their missions, I am realizing how much they truly mean to me!

ELDER RYAN WESTENSKOW

Ryan showed me what it is like to be hard working and dedicated and really lose yourself in the service of the Lord. Getting his letters is so inspiring to me and it’s just made my testimony of missions and the effects they have on young men grow so much. Ryan has worked so hard and is truly a great missionary.

ELDER NICK CLARK

Nick taught me to always be nice to everyone. He could hang out with anyone no matter what ‘group’ or popularity status they had. He always made you feel like he really cares  about you. Everyone loves Nick because of his infectious personality and he always made me want to be a better person.

ELDER KEATON MORTON

Keaton was always an example of responsibility to me. He always had it all together and was on top of things. He would always make sure you were ok and taken care of. He was very considerate of other people’s feelings and didn’t care if there was anything to do as long as he was with his friends.

ELDER SPENCER MCGHIE

Spencer was always the life of the party. He made everything fun. He always had a plan and was asking on dates and trying to include everyone. He taught me to not take life too seriously and that it’s funner when you can laugh at yourself when you make mistakes.

ELDER SKYLER HARRISON

Skyler and I have been best friends for a very long time. He is so gifted at playing the piano, it showed that hard work pays off. He is always there for people and an incredible listener and gives great advice. I always went to him for my problems and he would help solve them because he’s very observant and knows me better than I think I know myself. He’s very in tune with people and emotions.

ELDER ZANE RIGBY

Zane and I were best friends for a few years, and he was always the one to text me and make sure I was ok or just to catch up. He was always the one I went to when I needed someone. Whether it was 11 at night on Halloween or 4 in the morning. He would drop what he was doing and come help me. He was a great listener and genuinely cares about everyone.

ELDER JACOB HATCH

I only knew Jacob for a short amount of time but he was someone who just made everyone feel welcome. He would talk to me and hang out with me and was so friendly even though we hardly knew each other. I was always so comfortable hanging out with him. I want to be that type of person.

ELDER SEAN DEVISSER

Sean and I have been really good friends for a really long time. He is the type who is always up for anything. He always texts you and invites you over and is fine with just sitting around hanging out which I love. He is chill and yet makes whatever you’re doing fun. He always makes you feel welcome and doesn’t just ignore you in big groups. He always greets you with a big hug and make sure everyone knows he cares about them. Although he hasn’t left yet, he has his call and will be leaving soon and I will miss him a lot!

ELDER JOSH FABRIZIO

Josh is my best friend right now. He and I always have late, all night talks and I can talk to him about anything. He is always there for me and would drop everything to help one of his friends in need. He always lets you know how much he loves you in his life and makes everything fun because of his funny personality. People feel comfortable around him and know they can count on him. He always texts me and reminds me to read my scriptures and is a great example to me. He hasn’t left yet either, but is preparing to go.

ELDER JAKE CORRY

Jake is the sweetest, nicest, finniest, most caring person ever. He is one who truly loves his family and I often find him doing the dishes for his mom or playing with his little sisters who just adore him. He is so nice to my little brother and plays with him whenever he comes over. He’s one that you can just sit down and talk to and give your whole life story and he just listens intently. He makes everything fun and is so out going. I am going to miss him a lot when he’s gone.

ELDER CONNOR MARTIN

Connor is one of the best examples in my life. He is so spiritual and isn’t afraid to stand up for what he believes. He is always asking me to go to the temple with him. He is crazy and weird and that’s why I love him. He is truly one of a kind and I know will be a fantastic missionary.

I am so lucky to have been surrounded by such great guys my whole life. Although I skipped over a ton of missionaries, I am so proud of these boys. I am so grateful I can call them my best friends. They are some of the greatest guys out there. I appreciate their great examples and their willingness to serve the Lord. Each of them make me want to be a better person. I love them all so much!
