Just. Wait.

Why must we spend so much time waiting? How often do we hear the phrase
Someday I Will' Will what?
*Clean my apartment?
*Have a boyfriend?
*Know what I want to do with my life?
*Fix a relationship?
*Learn to cook?
*Start doing homework?
*Start exercising regularly?
*Read my scriptures?
*Go to the temple?
*Clean out my car?
*BE HAPPY?
Well, the truth is, someday usually doesn’t come. We need to start NOW. It’s good to have goals to aim towards and something to work for, but if you’re not working for it and just waiting for something to ‘someday’ change, you’re wasting your time. These things aren't just going to happen on their own. With the things you have control over, start doing it now. And if something’s out of your control, don’t dwell on them. Because in the end everything is going to be ok. And if it’s not ok, then it’s not the end. Enjoy life as it comes. Each day is an opportunity to make ourselves and others better. Take chances, make mistakes, and most of all, be happy. Because life’s not waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.
