when in NY:

we win the wicked lottery: front row, center seats; $26.25.

we make friends with germans who tell us they had a hang over. 

we get directions to a singles ward from a handsome man holding scriptures.

we get rained on in central park & eat thin crust pizza.

we make music videos & plank on the subway.

we make bargains in china town.

we eat a mint chocolate chip shake & frozen hot chocolate at serendipity's.

we eat gourmet waffles with ice cream on the street.

we spend money at anthropologie, h&m, & urban outfitters.

we try on $300,000 wedding rings.

we get serenaded at dinner & join a human train around the restaurant.

we walk across the brooklyn bridge & watch the sunset.

we get tours of the nbc studio, & go to the top of the rock & empire state.

we get a chicken sandwich & fries for $3.50 including tip.

we go to the harry potter exhibit & pose with famous people at madame trousseau's.

we ride bikes in central park & take a ferry to the statue of liberty.

we eat corn bread & a cookie for lunch. 

we go to body worlds & get to be blind people for an hour.

we eat dinner on mars & eat ice cream while freezing.

we go sailing in the harbor & act a little drunk.

we take pictures of hot guys on subways, then a he/she takes creepy pictures of us.

we are accomplices' & have to make it across town sneakily.

we visit ground zero & shop at century 21.

we see harry potter on broadway & split chicken fettuccine alfredo but still pay $15.

we go to the temple & do confirmations in spanish.

we wander the streets of ny, searching for multiple urban outfitters.

we sleep on on the couch, & on air mattresses in the kitchen & family room.

we walk until our feet have blisters & are bruised. 

we share a bathroom with 7 people & crash every night.

we get on separate flights, & have to get a hotel in memphis & new orleans.

we lose our bags in memphis, & still have yet to get them back.

we are absolutely exhausted, but just had one of the best weeks of our lives.

we are grateful for siri & michael letting us stay with them.
